AccuWeather’s Celsius Labs will create a series of travel stories showing millennial travelers how to maximize their adventure leveraging the Marriott Rewards Credit Card.

We do this with a simple formula:

  1. Design and Direction - celebrate adventure, relaxation, and escape from reality through visual cues and smart headers, slide shows, and text.
  2. Bring an experienced team of travel writers who can deliver a compelling narrative written to millennial-minded travelers. As the stories unfold, we’ll also provide a text box that specifically delivers travel hacks to help maximize the value of Chase Marriott Rewards Card for earning points and other travel related benefits - promoting card usage - and the hacks for the millennial traveler planning and journeying on their adventure.

As an extension to these stories, we can also develop companion video series with talent to deliver similar messaging with 90 second vignettes either on location or in studio (additional production fees required)

With more than a decade of experience working for media companies, I know great content, and I know how to bring it to life online. From design, user experience and site architecture to content strategy, traffic driving, social media and SEO, I have proven expertise in all facets of online content management and the hands-on experience to know what really works with users. I’m also a huge geek – endlessly curious about how people connect online and across social media and a bottomless consumer of the latest research and trend analyses.

A passionate foodie and traveler, I’m a freelance writer – my articles have appeared in The Globe and Mail, Vogue.com, Food & Wine, Westjet Magazine and more.

Kat Tancock

Kat Tancock is a freelance writer primarily focused on travel. Her work has appeared in The Globe and Mail, Westjet Magazine, Canadian Business, Reader’s Digest, Canadian Living, the San Francisco Chronicle, and numerous other publications. Based in Toronto but raised in B.C. (and New Zealand), she brings a national approach to her work and is never happier than when covering her home province.

Thanks to an offbeat post-secondary education, Kat speaks good Russian, half-decent French and some Spanish and Croatian, skills that have come in handy on assignment in countries like Mexico and Armenia. She is a trained (though woefully out of practice) yoga teacher, and has also taught Russian at the University of Toronto and web editorial for magazines at Ryerson University.

Kat has worked in the magazine industry for over a decade and in digital media for more than 20 years. She currently focuses her attention on her content marketing agency Tavanberg, whose client list includes Sobeys, United Way and Plan International Canada. She is also contributing editor at Food & Drink.
